Big Bear Choppers

The TITANIUM is an all new motorcycle from Big Bear Choppers. Its a completely different motorcycle than anything we've offered before. The TITANIUM engine is the all new S&S V111 that packs 122.8 lbs of torque. BBC has worked with Yoshimura to develop a whole new exhaust, as well as carbon fiber side covers and front fenders. We're also offering Sport and Touring fairings. It uses World Class Brake Tech rotors, an Inverted Front End suspension that was co-developed by BBC and Öhlins. It also uses Nissin handlebar controls & a Hydraulic Clutch System. Its a powerful bike designed for riding fast, and riding cross country.

After much soul searching and marketing research, Kevin and Mona are re-emerging with a new approach to the market, a new Titanium model featured here and a soon to be annouced  line of custom parts for Harley-Davidson Sportster. All being the first public expressions of what Big Bear Choppers is going to try to accomplish during the next few years. Clearly, leveraging some of the best of Harley-Davidson platforms to offer improved customized interpretation, both aesthetically and technologically, and this without sacrificing any original factory reliability. A philosophy that could be described as “finishing Milwaukee’s job.”

The Titanium is centered on the FXR frame Erik Buell and 6 other engineers designed for Harley-Davidson back in the day. Kevin tweaked it for even better compliance and the result is a bike which rides like nothing else in the segment, as Big Bear Chopper claims. The bike feels firm and boasts exceptional torsional rigidity, with sharp turning, yet provides unrivaled comfort. Kevin says that a rider can effortlessly do 800 miles (1,300 km) a day aboard his Titanium.

Inside the frame, Big Bear Choppers maintains the V111 Carb Evolution v-twin from S&S mated to a 6-speed Baker overdrive transmission. Almost 116 horsepower and 123 lb-ft (166 Nm) of torque are reined by a modern Öhlins inverted fork in anodized gold trim, while the rear end was loaded with dual Öhlins units, also inverted.

Other additions are custom machined wheels with huge drilled petal rotors and radial Brembo calipers, a DayMaker LED headlight and two additional projectors which improve sight in mid-turn at night, the carbon fiber front fender and side panels, plus leather saddlebags for touring purposes.
